Rum-soaked Raisins

I prepare rum-soaked raisins to be used for pound cakes. You can buy them at supermarkets but I recommend to make them yourself as it’s too easy to make. Also, I feel safe as there will be no additives and you can select which raisins to use. However, it takes over 1 month to be ready for the cake. I always keep rum-soaked raisins so that I can bake pound cakes whenever I want.

Ingredients
Dry raisins
Rum

How to cook
1. Put raisins in a plastic bag with zipper.
2. Pour rum (dark rum) to soak raisins.
3. Remove air and store in the fridge more than 1 month.

It’s handy if you could find raisins already in a bag with zipper.
Rum could be anything but dark.
Pour rum, remove air, and store in the fridge over 1 month.
