Tempura can be eaten with salt but more commonly, with a sauce. You can make this sauce if you cannot find tempura sauce at supermarkets. You can use this sauce to eat “soba” as well. To use for tempura, please serve with grated white radish.
Ingredients
Water 200㏄
Soya-bean sauce 50㏄
Mirin 50㏄
Bonito flakes (Katsuobushi) 5g
Kombu 5cm x 5cm
How to cook
1. All the ingredients in a pan. Heat to boil with a middle flame.
2. Take out kombu and bonito flakes. You can squeeze bonito flakes.
