Marinated Chicken – Teriyaki Style

Very easy way of cooking “teriyaki” chicken. Marinate chicken with sweet and salty sauce instead of adding sauce after cooking chicken. In this way, you can avoid chicken become too salty. Chicken thigh or with bones are recommended but chicken breast is also OK.

Ingredients
Chicken      500g
Sake       30㏄
Soya-bean sauce  40㏄
Mirin       30㏄

<Sauce>
Soya-bean sauce  15㏄
Mirin        15㏄

How to cook
1. Cut chicken into small pieces like 7cm square. Marinate them with sake, soya-bean sauce, and mirin. Leave in the fridge for overnight.
2. Mix <sauce>.
3. Spread some oil in a pan. Cook both sides of the chicken.
4. Add sauce in a pan and mix with the chicken. Cook for a few minutes only.

I used pre-cut chicken thigh.
Marinate with sake, soya-bean sauce, and mirin. Leave in a fridge overnight.

Prepare sauce.
Add sauce to the chicken. Cook for a few minutes.
