Fried Prawn

This is a very popular dish in Japan. Prawns are seasoned with salt and pepper but we usually eat with “sauce” or mayonnaise. “Sauce” can be any sauce that is sold at Japanese supermarkets and please find your favorites. By using rice powder and bread crumbs made from rice bread, the dish becomes gluten-free.

Ingredients
Prawn
Salt
Pepper
Rice powder
Bread crumbs
Egg       1pc
Milk       15㏄
Frying oil

How to cook
1. Remove shells of prawns. Remove sand veins using toothpicks. Make some cuts at bottom of shrimps.
2. Salt and pepper. Mix egg and milk.
3. Cover with rice powder -> soak in egg -> cover with bread crumbs.
4. Deep fry at 180C of oil. It would take only 1-2 minutes.
