Deep Fried Pork (“Ton-Katsu”)

“Ton-katsu” is fried pork and it is a very popular dish in Japan as there are many “ton-katsu” restaurants. You can use pork loin or tenderloin. By using bread crumbs made from rice bread, the dish becomes gluten-free. “Ton-katsu” is often served with finely shredded cabbage and “ton-katsu sauce” (brown sauce).
