Chocolate Cake – Japanese Style

This is a kind of pound cake as it is baked in a pound cake container. It looks like a chocolate cake but it contains a lot of “anko” (sweet beans paste). You can bake it as a plain cake or you can add sweet beans. I baked two cakes at the same time using small pound-cake containers. One for plain, and one for with sweet beans. Please purchase any sweet beans (ama-natto) at supermarkets.

Ingredients (for 15cm pound cake container x 2)

Sugar 15g
