This is a preparation of boiled bamboo shoots to be used in other dish like “chirashi-sushi” or “takenoko-gohan”. However, you can eat as it is if you cut bamboo shoots bigger.
Ingredients
Boiled bamboo shoots 200g
Dashi soup 150㏄
Sugar 15㏄
Soya-bean sauce 30㏄
How to cook
1. Remove any remained skins and clean the boiled bamboo shoots.
2. Cut bamboo shoots. To eat as it is, cut bigger. To be used for other dish, cut rectangular and then slice with about 3 mm thickness.
3. Cook bamboo shoots in a pan with dashi soup, sugar, and soya-bean sauce for 10 minutes. Leave them in a pan to be cooled. Store with the soup.
