Chicken Rice (Fried Rice)

This is fried rice seasoned with ketchup. Because chicken is used, this is called “chicken rice”. You can eat as it is. We often wrap with eggs and the dish becomes “omu-rice”, a popular daily dish.

Ingredients
Steamed rice  270cc (raw rice)
Chicken    500g
Onion     100g
Carrot     60g
Salt      4g
Pepper    
Ketchup    100㏄

How to cook
1. Chop onion and carrot. Cut chicken into small pieces. Prepare steamed rice.
2. Spread oil in a pan. Cook onion, carrot, and chicken. Sprinkle 2g of salt and some pepper.
3. Add 40cc of ketchup and mix well.
4. Add steamed rice. Sprinkle rest of the salt and some pepper. Cook until mixed with other ingredients.
5. Add rest of the ketchup and cook well.

Add 40cc of ketchup.
Add rice. Sprinkle rest of the salt and pepper. Cook well.
Add 60cc of ketchup and cook well.
