You can make this dish gluten free by using gluten free baguette, French bread. If not, there is no way to make French toast gluten free. French toast is sweet and taste like a pudding. Long baguette is hard to eat within a few days so I always cook this to help consumption. This is good for a breakfast and need to prepare from the night before.
Ingredients
Baguette 3㎝ slices x 4pcs
Milk 250㏄
Egg 1pc
Honey 50g
Butter 15g
How to cook
1. Mix milk, egg, and honey well. Put in a plastic bag.
2. Soak baguettes for over 10 hours in a fridge. During soaking, turn upside down for few times. Make sure the baguettes absorbs the mixture.
3. Melt butter in a pan at middle flame. Cook baguettes until they get brown. Turn around and cook for 3 minutes. Cover the pan and cook for another 5 minutes with low flame.
