Miso soup with tofu and seaweed is the most basic miso soup. Therefore, dashi-soup is very important. It can be an easy dashi but never use just water. The taste would be very different. Also, there are many types of seaweed, and for this miso soup, it should be “wakame”. Wakame can be sold in dry or wet. In both cases, wakame should be soaked in a water before use.
Ingredients
Dashi soup 1,000 cc
Tofu 300-400g
Wakame 10g (dried)
Miso about 120g
Green onions if needed
How to cook
1. Prepare dashi soup.
2. Cut tofu into about 2 cm cubes. Cut wakame into about 5 cm squares.
3. Add tofu and wakame into dashi soup. Cook to boil.
4. Dissolve miso.
